Drinks with a view

Now that the weather is slowly warming up and I am finally 21, I am constantly on the lookout for bars to go out to that have a great view.

I celebrated my 21st birthday at a hotel rooftop bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and ever since then, I am intrigued by any bar that has a city view.

Thrillist picked 17 locations in Chicago with “jaw dropping” views and I have chosen my top three favorites from their list to share. Get ready to travel downtown to Chicago for a view of the city like you have never seen before.

1. The Terrace at the Trump

With views of the Chicago River leading into Lake Michigan, the Terrace at the Trump has a lot to offer with its location. You will appreciate the beauty of the city and its architecture even more after getting an up close and personal look.

2. Signature Room at the 95th

Located in the John Hancock Center, the Signature Room offers impressive views of Chicago and Lake Michigan. Dining 95 floors above the hustle and bustle of the city, how can the views be anything but breathtaking?

3. Tavern at the Park – Treehouse

Right downtown at Michigan and Randolph Street, this location is “pure Chicago.” Just across from Millenium Park, Tavern at the Park is a great place to enjoy drinks with a view after a long workday.
